Give your visitors a comfortable way to sit
Bankie was devised in 2014 by Werner and Mark from Carpentry Services. The idea came from a tip given to them by some acquaintances who were at a rainy festival and couldn’t find anywhere to sit down. Werner and Mark began to wonder how many seats an event actually needs and how seats can be created which are cheap but good quality. The idea for Bankie was born!
The carpenters knew that they should create a bench that is comfortable, durable, vandal-resistant and easy to assemble, but that also looks good.
Bankie consists of two parts that are easy to assemble and disassemble. The part you sit on slopes downwards to allow rainwater to run off easily.
With the first Bankie, it became apparent that it is easy to customise. This makes Bankie not only a perfect seat, but also the best place to advertise your brand, or that of the sponsors or partners of your event. This means that Bankie pays for itself at the very the first event. And next year, you can of course use your Bankie again for commercial purposes.
Festivals aren’t the only places where you will see Bankie; it is a great solution for the (commercial) embellishment of events, fairs or workshops. Bankie always provides a creative solution if you need more seating. Special adjustments are also always possible. Werner and Mark are open to this.
